During a
lesson, a teacher asked her pupils:
“Can you
give an example of any miracle, kids?”
A girl
from a Christian family raised her hand. The teacher asked her the same
question reluctantly.
“A
miracle was when God led the Israelites through the Red Sea!”
The
teacher was an unbeliever, so she decided to contradict.
“You
can't call it a miracle. Scholars have found that this sea is very shallow in a
certain place and in a certain time, and you can cross it easily.”
The
teacher went on asking:
“Kids,
who can give an example of any miracle?”
The girl
raised her hand again. The teacher had to let her answer:
“I know,
I know. The miracle was when all Pharaoh's troops sank in a very shallow sea.”
